Amanda Rose is a multidisciplinary educator, entomologist, and horticulture specialist with a deep commitment to sustainable agriculture and global food security.
She currently serves as a Program Manager and Assistant Professor of Biology and Horticulture at Eastern Florida State College.

With a background that includes six degrees in agriculture fields, Amanda brings extensive expertise in integrated pest management, agriculture education, organic certification, regenerative agriculture, and climate-smart farming practices.

Her global experience spans hands-on work in over 30 countries, including assignments with USAID’s Farmer to Farmer Program, Peace Corps, and the USDA. Amanda is also a board certified entomologist and master beekeeper, and continues to consult, write, and develop training programs that empower growers and support resilient food systems.

She is fluent in Spanish and Edo with working proficiency in French and Swahili.
